Alcohol means drinks like beer, wine, vodka and gin.
Drugs mean the illegal chemicals which change our behaviour.

This policy will spend about the same as last year on supporting people who may have problems with alcohol and drugs.

People who die from alcohol or drug problems are often living in poverty.

7 out of every 10 people who get specialist treatment in Scotland are men.
