This is the sixth Medium-Term Financial Strategy (MTFS) published by the Scottish Government and provides the context for the Scottish Budget and the Scottish Parliament.

13. This is the figure that was 'locked in' at Budget 2023-24 until outturn data becomes available. The latest forecasts suggest that the net position has improved to £411 million in 2023-24 but this has no impact on the Scottish Government's funding position.
