Scottish Health Survey: content review outcomes report

Asthma 

During the review process there was strong support to retain the existing asthma module from Asthma and Lung UK Scotland, ScotPHO and the SG Children and Families analysis team with the following reasons given: there is no or limited population level data available elsewhere, the data is used to inform/evaluate public policy, to validate other data sources and to monitor targets and trends. We are, therefore, retaining the existing questions as they are and we will continue to include them in the main survey on the same basis as before: annually for the core questions, and in even years for the additional asthma questions.
