You asked Mr Lochhead for "I have looked at the Scottish Lobbying Register and would like to ask you if you could provide minutes or any other information you may have regarding what was discussed in these meetings:
- 09/03/2022 with BP
- 17/03/2022 with BP
- 19/04/2022 with BP
Response
The Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have asked for. Mr Matheson met with bp on 09/03/2022, however we have no record of a meeting between Mr Lochhead and bp on 09/03/2022. Mr Lochhead attended a SCDI event on 17/03/2022 of which bp were one of a number of companies in attendance. We therefore do not consider this to be within the scope of your request, however I can advise that no note of this event was taken.
I have attached the relevant documents which you have requested relating to a meeting that took place on 19/04/2022.
This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested.
