Climate change - Scottish National Adaptation Plan 2024-2029: monitoring and evaluation framework

Framework we will use to monitor and evaluate progress in delivering the Scottish National Adaptation Plan 2024 to 2029. The Adaptation Plan sets out the actions that the Scottish Government and partners will take to respond to the impacts of climate change from 2024 to 2029.

While the indicators have been chosen to reflect measures of change annually, data updates will not be available annually for every objective indicator depending on its data source and frequency of data collection and reporting. More detail on each indicator, including data sources is available in Appendix 1.

4. This indicator criteria was only used for the outcome level indicators where baseline data is being presented at the outset of SNAP3.

5. Flood Re is an initiative between the UK Government and insurers which works to ensure the availability and affordability of home insurance including flood cover. The Build Back Better initiative was introduced in 2022, and provides additional funding for eligible properties to rebuild following a flood using flood resilience and resistance measures for their property.
