This report is based on the returns of an annual survey questionnaire sent to all active authorised shellfish farming businesses in Scotland. Statistics on employment, production and value of shellfish from Scottish shellfish farms are presented.

Errata

An errata was published on 11th July 2024 as a result of changes on PDF page 14 to Chart 10. A correction has been made to the chart description text. Previously categories were noted as being displayed in tonnes, this has been corrected to thousands of shells. The HTML and PDF have been updated to reflect these changes.
