Scottish Welfare Fund Statistics: update to 30 June 2024
The quarterly update of Scottish Welfare Fund Statistics for April to June 2024. This includes annual statistics on Community Care Grants and Crisis grants from 2013, as well as quarterly breakdowns from 2019.
Official Statistics in Development for Scotland
The Scottish Welfare Fund comprises Community Care Grants, which help people to live independently, and Crisis Grants, which provide a safety net in a disaster or emergency.
This publication provides information on the Scottish Welfare Fund for the latest quarter, 1 April to 30 June 2024. While this edition concentrates on the period from 2019-20 onward, it also contains information on budgets and expenditure from 1 April 2013, when the scheme began.
A supplementary spreadsheet containing 44 tables and 14 charts has also been published. Electronic versions of this document and accompanying tables and charts are available at the Scottish Government SWF web page.
