Scottish Welfare Fund Statistics: update to 31 December 2023

The latest quarterly statistics on the Scottish Welfare Fund, focused on October to December 2023.

In the latest quarter, 113,990 unique households received a Crisis Grant, and 81,445 received a Community Care Grant (Tables 38a-c, Chart 13).

More than a third (38%) of households receiving awards contained children. Of the total £434.2 million that has been awarded, £190.8 million has been awarded to households containing children.
