SME access to finance report: July 2009
This report draws on data from the Access to Finance Survey July 2009 to assess access to finance conditions for SMEs.
This report, published in July 2009, presents the findings of the Scottish Government's first survey on Access to Finance for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). It considers how credit conditions are perceived to have changed for SMEs in Scotland since 2007, drawing on the results for Scotland from the 2007 UK-wide Financing UK Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Survey, undertaken by the Centre for Business Research. It considers the current constraints faced by SMEs in Scotland as a result of the credit crunch and economic downturn.
