Panel discussion: Theme 4 - How will we know systems are working?
The panel talked about theme 4 with panel members sharing their experience and knowledge.

The panel talked about:
- how information can support people to make decisions about social care support

- what were the most important things needed to have a work plan that:
- works well

- is inclusive – that everyone can be part of and have the same choices and chances
- is accessible – that people can easily get information that they understand
The panel agreed it was important to recognise that technology has had a big effect on the inspection of social care.

Technology is machines, equipment and information.
The panel then talked about:
- using facts, figures and information
- using digital ways of working in social care support

Digital means things that use the internet like computers or smart phones.

- accessible information

Is there anything else we need to talk about?
A member of the secretariat said that work around payment for people with lived experience was complete.
Panel members will be contacted about this soon.
