In the Social Security Scotland Code of Practice for Investigations it refers to ‘Complaints about Surveillance’, particularly 'complaints about Social Security Scotland’s use of surveillance'.

Please provide the following information:
1. The number of complaints about Social Security Scotland’s use of surveillance powers since 2019.

Please provide the total number but also, if possible, provide the figure broken down by calendar year (2020, 2021, 2022 and 20230).

2. The number of complaints about surveillance that were resolved through Social Security Scotland since 2019.

Please provide the total number but also, if possible, provide the figure broken down by calendar year (2020, 2021, 2022 and 20230).

3. The number of complaints that required an independent investigation since 2019.

1/2/3. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance Social Security Scotland does not hold the information you have requested, as Social Security Scotland have not received any complaints about our use of surveillance.
