Staffing structure, pay grades, pay scales for SCAI: FOI release

Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.


Information requested

Please supply the following information contained within your records:

  1. The staffing structure within SCAI, including job titles and corresponding pay grades.
  2. The current pay scale for each pay grade.
  3. The number of employees in each pay grade.
  4. The percentage of employees in each pay grade who are female and male
  5. Please advise if you use outside contractors.
  6. How many outside contractors from the beginning of SCAI until present date have you given contract to?
  7. Please advise all specific roles/projects that have been filled with contractors?
  8. Please state for every role/project, pay grades per day and the total amount paid to for all contracted work, please break this down month on month from inception of SCAI to present date?
  9. Please also give the total costs into specific role/project and then break that down month on month from inception of SCAI and today’s date.

  2. The current pay scale for each pay grade.
    Whilst we do not have information on the staffing structure, including job titles and corresponding pay grades within SCAI, there are a number of Scottish Government staff assigned to the Inquiry and the relevant Scottish Government pay scales relative to these staff are outlined below.
