Notes
- The numbers of adults as a percentage of all adults known to a local authority are estimates as the figures may not have come from the same base of individuals.
- Care should be taken when comparing figures between years. Differences between these figures can be partially accounted for by improvements in data collection techniques as well as actual changes in the numbers known to authorities.
- Dundee City classifies most clients involved in either Further Education and Training as being within Further Education.
- Figures for Argyll & Bute, Eilean Siar and Perth & Kinross are based on 2006 estimates.
