Towards a litter-free Scotland: a strategic approach to higher quality local environments

This national litter strategy sets out how Scotland can significantly reduce litter and flytipping and support cleaner, safer communities.

15. FlyMapper is an online reporting system for litter practitioners to record flytipping. It was developed by Zero Waste Scotland and SEPA, in partnership with Natural Resources Wales.

16. The bespoke app is for use in the field, recording the location, type, quantity and photograph of the material flytipped. FlyMapper enables easy identification of incidents and black spots.
