Twitter policy: Planning and Environmental Appeals

The Twitter policy for the Planning and Environmental Appeals Division.
The Scottish Government Planning and Environmental Appeals Division (DPEA) Twitter account @DPEAScotland is managed by the DPEA IT Team.
Tweets will be about:
- new decisions
- new cases
- weekly wind farm statistics
- legislation and appeal form changes
If you follow us, you can expect between two to five tweets a day providing alerts about new content which can be found on our Planning Appeals web pages

Availability
We will update and monitor our Twitter account during office hours, Monday to Friday.
Twitter may occasionally be unavailable and we accept no responsibility for lack of service due to Twitter downtime.
@Replies and direct messages
The DPEA IT Team reads all Direct Messages and ensures that any emerging themes or helpful suggestions are passed to the relevant people in the Scottish Government. We will also keep an eye on @replies and respond if we feel it would be appropriate to do so.
