Scotland's results from the UK Innovation Survey 2023, covering the three-year period from 2020 to 2022


Use of Technology

UKIS 2023 asked new questions on business use of technologies. All businesses, whether they had any innovation activity or not, were asked about their use of management technologies and production enhancing technologies in 2022.

Figure 15: Accountancy software was the most commonly used management technology for both broader innovators and non-broader innovators. For all management technologies, the share of businesses that used them was higher for broader innovators than non-broader innovators.
