Experimental statistics are statistics which are published in order to involve users and stakeholders in their development and as a means to build in quality at an early stage.

This report, and accompanying tables, will be published regularly, and the content and quality will continue to be reviewed and improved.

The Scottish Government are currently conducting a data reconciliation project and continuing to review the local authority survey. These data improvements will affect data presented in future publications.
