Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme in Scotland: statistics - February 2023

Total numbers of visa applications, issued visas and arrivals

According to the latest DLUHC statistics up to 21 February, Scotland has received a total number of 44,970 visa applications, following which, 38,060 visas were issued for those with a Scottish Sponsor (either SG or Individual).

As of 21 February 2023, a total number of 23,483 displaced people from Ukraine had arrived in the UK on a visa with a Scottish sponsor. The number of arrivals per 100,000 population by UK Nation are:

• 429 displaced people with a Sponsor in Scotland;
• 209 displaced people with a Sponsor in Wales;
• 150 displaced people with a Sponsor in England;
• 44 displaced people with a Sponsor in Northern Ireland.
