Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme in Scotland: statistics - July 2023

Total numbers of visa applications, issued visas and arrivals

According to the latest DLUHC statistics up to 25 July 2023, Scotland has received a total number of 46,080 visa applications, following which, 38,809 visas were issued for those with a Scottish Sponsor (either Scottish Government or Individual).

As of 25 July 2023, a total number of 25,155 displaced people from Ukraine had arrived in the UK on a visa with a Scottish sponsor. The number of arrivals per 100,000 population by UK Nation are:

• 459 displaced people with a Sponsor in Scotland;
• 223 displaced people with a Sponsor in Wales;
• 169 displaced people with a Sponsor in England;
• 62 displaced people with a Sponsor in Northern Ireland.
