Visa data by age and sex of applicant
DLUHC published visa data by age and sex of applicant on 25 May 2023 with the update for the period 1 January to 31 March 2023. Between 1 January and 31 March 2023 there were around 445 arrivals into the UK with an Individual Scottish Sponsor visa. Of these:
- 85 (19%) were aged under 18,
- 335 (75%) were aged 18 to 64,
- 25 (6%) were aged 65 and over.
Additionally, between 1 January and 31 March 2023 there were around 1,025 arrivals into the UK with a Scottish Super Sponsor visa. Of these:
- 185 (18%) were aged under 18,
- 810 (79%) were aged 18 to 64,
- 30 (3%) were aged 65 and over.
Overall, there were around 1,475 arrivals into the UK with a Scottish Sponsored visa between 1 January and 31 March 2023 with an average sex split of 55% female and 45% male, and an average age split of 18% of those aged under 18, 78% aged 18 to 64 and 4% aged 65 and over. Of those that arrived into the UK with a Scottish sponsored visa, approximately 30% had an individual sponsor and around 70% had a Super Sponsor visa.
