Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme in Scotland: statistics - March 2023

Total numbers of visa applications, issued visas and arrivals

According to the latest DLUHC statistics up to 21 March, Scotland has received a total number of 45,172 visa applications, following which, 38,205 visas were issued for those with a Scottish Sponsor (either SG or Individual).

As of 21 March 2023, a total number of 23,882 displaced people from Ukraine had arrived in the UK on a visa with a Scottish sponsor. The number of arrivals per 100,000 population by UK Nation are:

• 436 displaced people with a Sponsor in Scotland;
• 211 displaced people with a Sponsor in Wales;
• 154 displaced people with a Sponsor in England;
• 46 displaced people with a Sponsor in Northern Ireland.
