Offers to host

Offers to host launched on 28 November 2022, where prospective hosts could apply to join the Homes for Ukraine scheme and offer displaced people from Ukraine a place to stay as part of the Scottish Government’s Super Sponsor Scheme.

A total of 775 prospective hosts submitted offers to host from 28 November 2022 to 30 September 2023 (figure 2). The highest number of individuals making offers to host were in City of Edinburgh (70), Glasgow City (70) and the Highlands (60). A full breakdown of the number of individuals making offers to host by local authority can be found in the accompanying set of tables.

There are ten bars showing the number of individuals making offers to host each month. Please note, November and December 2022 figures have been combined. Of the prospective hosts that submitted offers to host from 28 November 2022 to 30 September 2023, 240 submitted between 28 November 2022 to 31 December 2022, 110 submitted in January, 80 in February, 100 in March, 45 in April, 55 in May, 35 in June, 50 in July, 35 in August, and 20 in September 2023.

Please note: November and December 2022 figures have been combined due to November data only covering 3 days. All figures have been rounded to the nearest 5. Therefore totals may not sum due to rounding.
