Updates on proposal for a possible railway station in Bonnybridge: FOI release

Information requested

Any updates or information Transport Scotland has regarding the proposal for a possible railway station in Bonnybridge and if any progress has been made regarding the proposal and had also noted that "Mr Kevin Collins (Transport Planning Co-Ordinator) Falkirk Council, submitted documents, regarding this proposal, to Transport Scotland in 2022".

Response

I enclose a copy of all of the information that we hold within the scope of your request, noting that you stated in your clarification of 31 May 2023 that you only require updates on the progress of the submission for the proposed railway station for Bonnybridge and that you do not require to have sight of a copy of the submission. We have withheld personal data related to third parties under FOISA Section 38 (1) (b), where it would breach GDPR principles to release this information.

We will be meeting officers of Falkirk Council in the coming weeks to discuss the Council's Bonnybridge Transport Issues STAG Appraisal Case for Change Report submitted.
