Estimates the costs, benefits and risks of the Wildlife Management and Muirburn (Scotland) Bill. It also considers how the Bill adheres to the five principles of better regulation: transparency, accountability, proportionality, consistency and targeted where appropriate.

The Bill will impact professional wildlife management businesses that utilise traps, grouse moor businesses, those undertaking muirburn, those using glue traps to control rodents, those that breach wildlife legislation, the enforcers of the legislation and the designated licensing authority including the following groups / organisations;
- Police Scotland
- Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS)
- Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service (SCTS)
- Scottish Prison Service (SPS)
- NatureScot
